Since 1990.
In its second generation.
What began in a family cellar is today the international market leader in cellar technology. What has remained: quality, short lines and the ambition that our machines earn good money for decades.

From the cellar to the whole world.
An ending
The company where Erwin Dages services cellar machinery worldwide as a service fitter goes bankrupt.
The beginning
Erwin Dages founds Kematec – in the parents' cellar, with two employees and the simplest of means.
The rise
Kematec becomes the international market leader for wiring, capsuling and drying machines.
The next generation
With Fabian Dages, the second generation takes on responsibility in management.
World-beating
Kematec machines run all around the globe – up to 35,000 bottles per hour.

Two generations,
one standard.
Founder Erwin Dages built Kematec from nothing into a world market leader – as hunter, salesman and technician in one person. Today, leading with Fabian Dages the second generation continues the family business: a qualified mechanical engineer, close to the product, with the same demand for quality and reliability.
What connects them both: talking openly, sometimes disagreeing – and in the end finding the best solution together.
"Simple, robust high-performance machines that last 20, 30 years – so the customer earns good money with them."Erwin Dages, Founder
How it all began.

In use worldwide.

Family business

Honesty & trust
Speaking openly, even disagreeing with the boss – that's how we solve problems together.
Team strength
Everyone lends a hand. In a small team, togetherness is everything.
Longevity
Simple, robust machines that stay reliably in service for 20 to 30 years.
Figures that speak for themselves.
In use from South Africa to New Zealand – including Spain, Mexico, Hungary, Czechia, Moldova and many more countries.
Responsibility you can see.
Conserving resources instead of wasting them – part of our DNA since the founding.
🐑 Three sheep keep our company lawn short. Sustainability can be likeable, too.
General overhaul
We refurbish existing machines instead of replacing them – clean the base frame, repaint it, renew wear parts.
PV & e-mobility
Photovoltaics and currently five hybrid or electric vehicles in use – and rising.
Long-lasting technology
Machines that last 20 to 30 years are the most sustainable machines of all.
Build with us the

Become part of our story.
Whether as a customer or a new team member – we look forward to meeting you.
